Working within the confines of a live railway line, bust roads and footpaths, JCL carried out demolition works, on site pre-casting as major roadworks to upgrade the local infrastructure

Key Features

• Demolition over live railway line of section of existing briudge, carried out at night during possession
• Design and installation of substantial temporary works immediately adjacent to the live railway line
• On site pre-cast facility established with precast stone faced walls and pre-cast bridge arch section constructed
• Installation of reinforced earth embankments to the new bridge extension
• Substantial road and footpath upgrades on both approaches to the bridge and to the adjacent roundabout, requiring major traffic andf pedestrian management
• Major interface with 3rd parties and the local community
