This was the biggest project that JCL had undertaken in a live pharmaceutical environment, and involved works in several different areas of the plant

Key Features

  • 1100m3 monitoring tank constructed under the existing car park with major excavation and concrete works in a very restricted location
  • MEICA works to monitoring tank
  • 150m of 750mm concrete pipe to outfall with severe restrictions and depths up to 4m
  • 300m of 450mm concrete pipes within live plant
  • 200m of 300mm concrete pipes and associated manholes
  • 400m of stainless steel trench drains and connection to new network
  • Stainless steel process drains
  • 400m2 of exposed aggregate paving to match existing 1960's paving
  • Working within the BMS permit and owner systems
  • Major Health & Safety requirements to meet specific Client requirements
