Description: This project consisted of complete urban renewal works along Lower Thomas St, Catherine St and William St in Limerick city centre. The works included large quantities of very high specification paving, substantial utility diversions and installation of new ducting, drainage, public lighting and street furniture.
Liasion with local businesses was an important piece of the overall contract as access had to be maintained to all businesses for the duration of the works, as well as substantial works being carried out on the basements of buildings in the area
Tralee Town Centre Pedestrianisation

Description: This project consisted of the demolition of the existing concrete surfacing in the town centre and subsequent complete overhaul of the area. Limestone paving was procured within Ireland and from France and laid in a challenging radial layout. This included substantial quantities of ducting, drainage, diversions and street furniture.
Programming and quick progress was essential to this project to ensure that the target of completion, before the annual Tralee Festival took place, was reached.
Upper Bedford Row

Description: This project, which was the second of the Limerick Streets Remodelling Project, which JCL undertook, consisted of the complete renewal of city centre streets in Limerick. The works included stabilisation and strengthening works to several basements, along with installation of ducting, drainage and large quantities of kerbing and paving.
Substantial traffic and pedestrian management was also designed, installed and managed for the duration of the contract.
Clancy Strand

Description: This project consisted of riverside improvement works in Limerick city centre. The works included reclaimation of the Curragour Bund and substantial paving, ducting, public lighting and street furniture installation.
The project was completed by teh team who had previously carried out three other Limerick City regeneration projects. JCL also fulfilled the role of PSCS for this contract
Ennis Road

Description: This project involved the realignment of approximately 300m of the Ennis Road in Limerick city centre. The works created a new bus lane and included kerbing, paving, public lighting and surfacing.
A substantial traffic and pedestrian management plan was designed by JCL to enable the works to be completed safely.
Abbey Bridge Urban Renewal

Description: This project involved the realignment and paving of a 500m section of urban roads adjacent to Abbey Bridge in Limerick City. Services were upgraded and new kerbing and paving was installed.
The significant traffic and pedestrian management plan was designed and implemented by JCL to enable the works to be completed safely.
Naas Town Hall

This project was a minor urban renewal project to the front of Naas Town Hall, in the centre of Naas, Co. Kildare The contract included construction of disabled access to the Town Hall and detailed paving works.
Substantial traffic and pedestrian management was required and JCL successfully delivered the high quality finish required by the Client
