Description: This Design & Build project involves the construction of a 470m2 concrete Skatepark Facility in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. The project is highly specialised due to the quality of concrete finish required.
The works were carried out during extreme weather conditions which added to the challenging nature of the project
Gorey Town Park Skatepark

Description: This skatepark, is a highly complex concrete construction, consisting of several challenging elements. There were large quantities of curved and sloped slabs and ramps along with a large number of one of a kind concrete obstacles.
JCL also constructed footpaths as well as the installation of security fencing. The park has been in wide scale use since being handed over to Gorey Town Council.
Mount Kennett Skatepark, Limerick

Completion Date: July 2008
Description: This large concrete skatepark was constructed in 2008 in Limerick city centre. JCL were invovled in all design decisions from the commencement of the contract and achieved a high quality end product. The park hosted the All-Ireland Championships in 2009.
JCL also fulfilled the role of PSCS for this project.
Griffeen Valley Skatepark, Lucan

Completion Date: June 2006
Description: This park was the first skatepark that JCL constructed. It is a 450m2 concrete park with several challenging ramps, which required specialist concrete construction. There were subcontracts for steelwork and concrete finishing.
The project was completed on schedule and on budget and led to JCL carrying out more works of a similar nature
