Description: JCL had previously constructed the Kilcullen Business Campus, including all services, roads, boundary walls, surfacing and landscaping. JCL subsequently constructed their new Head Offices, which consist of two storey 600m2 office space as well as 450m2 warehouse space. There is also substantial outside storage areas.
The works were managed by JCL with all concrete and civil works carried out directly, and all building trades subcontracted. A very high standard of finish was achieved throughout the building.
Glanbia Retail Unit, Castlecomer

Description: JCL constructed this retail unit for Glanbia in Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. The site was approximately 11,000m2. JCL constructed the main retail building, which included a large storage area, a bulk storage unit, concrete yards and outdoor storage areas, along with surfacing, fencing etc.
The unit opened in December 2009.
Belgard Halting Site

Description: This project, completed on a site adjacent to Belgard Reservoir in Tallaght, consisted of the construction of ten day houses and parking bays for two caravans with each house. The building element included all groundworks, blockwork, roofing, doors and windows as well as full kit out of bathrooms and kitchens and all finishing works.
JCL also constructed boundary walls and access roads and footpaths.
St.Michael's Halting Site, Mullingar

Description: This project consisted of the construction of 14 houses at a new halting site in Mullingar. The works invovled construction of a temporary halting site for the duration of the works. JCL undertook all building works including blockwork, roofing, plastering as well as the full kit out including installation of doors, windows, bathrooms and kitchens.
A substantial quantity of surrounding boundary walls, kerbing footpath and roads were also constructed. JCL also fulfilled the role of PSCS for this contract.
Kishogue Station

Description: This new station, near Adamstown in Co. Dublin, was constructed as part of the Kildare Route Project Contract 2. JCL constructed the new building which includes two seperate blockwork buildings, with flat roofs (Ticket Office and Control Buildings). They were joined by a large steel frame building. There were substantial subcontracts for steel, tiling, roofing, glazing, M&E and stainless steel.
The new station building was completed to a very high specification. The approximate cost for the building alone is €2,000,000.
